Petfinder.com posts this about Betsie in Athens, TN. From looking at their website it appears as if they are no kill. I am calling later on to verify. Will let you know. She is an adult, red, female, BC. Pet ID D24 #24068

But please update if you discover they are no-kill. I figured with running the animal control, they weren't. But maybe on the "adopt" side, they are?

No,just found out they are NOT no-kill. The shelter mandates euthanasia after 8 days if they need room. Still have to wait until after 1:30 pm to talk to anyone on the adoption side about any particulars.

Betsie has been pulled from the shelter by some friends of mine. She is not scheduled for her spay until next Thurs so the shelter is keeping her until then. Of course the ladies who pulled her have no foster or adoption set up for her but she was on her 21st day and due to be put down any minute so they could not just leave her there. So far all I know is she is about 9 months. Female. Stray no tags, no chip. Heartworm neg. Gorgeous. Will get more info from friend after she returns home from a trip she left on as soon as the pull was accomplished today. Anyone ideas??????????
