First, definitely a BC - second more than like a red merle Aussie with a tail, puppy probably more BC.

The red merle looks like my blue merle Eddie only in red and with a tail.

I called about these three dogs this morning to find out more information about each.
Didn't have much luck. Anyway all three are strays, still available, and all seem to be friendly.

If you want to check with Sandy Wright with ARCBCR after you find out more details there maybe a possibility she will take them. I talked to Nancy and she will see if she has any pilots that could help as well.

Is there anyone near that area that could go and do a thorough evaluation on these dogs? The best I could find out today from the shelter was that they seemed to be friendly.

I called around this morning and found out that anyone interested in these dogs can contact Last Chance Arkansas. I was told that Kerry Kessler goes to the pound all of the time and evaluates, and can help with pulls and setting up out of state transport .

I have not contacted Last Chance about these dogs and do not know what the vetting and transportation fees are. But I wanted to share their information with whomever might be interested in helping them.

FINALLY got an email back from the shelter,. The First one is still availble Second Adopted, Third Still there, Then the OTHER pup that I have by itself is Adopted

So only those two still need help. I will contact some poeple.

the R/W 8831 has been rescued! She had good disposition and was HW+.
The puppy was spayed yesterday and still available.
The lady I spoke with said they have 75% euth rate.

Oh Awsome!! So now the little girl, Hopefully now that she is spayed someone will be willing to adopt her, I have emailed some rescues so we will see.

I stumbled across this page while researching red merle border collies and aussies. And there, in the middle, was a picture of the dog I adopted in July! Her name is Lucy. We have determined that she is an Aussie because of her herding style. And she is getting bigger and fluffier and looking more like an Aussie than when we first got her. Here is a recent picture of her.
