But more oddly, we still have Dutch. Poor Dutch.


We also have The Incredible Journey who is about 4 months old and cute as a button!


And on the other end of the spectrum is 11 year old Missy


In between you'll find the Eternal Goofball, Ziggy


And the world's strangest mix, Saphy - one border collie parent, one chihuahua X pomeranian parent. She wants to be your new height dog - she is ball crazy and fast as the dickens!


And just for interest's sake, here's one of those adorable Tess pups, almost 5 months old now. But you can't have him, he's mine!

Missy was adopted today! She had THREE very keen applicants, but she is going home with the two mommies of Skipper, a 16 year old border collie adopted from us about 3 years ago. We love Double Trouble adoptions, but we love senior Double Trouble adoptions the most. Congrats to Missy!

I don't get a chance to cruise the interwebz so much these days, but here's a recent list of the many lovely dogs we have available for adoption:


Kimby is an 8 year old mini Aussie, tipping the scales at just under 20 lbs. Her dad has been moved to an assisted care facility following surgical complications, and will not be coming out again


Jess is an 8 week old BC X Aussie who was given away for free at a horse auction along with her brother. We didnt' manage to get her brother, but Jess is safely with TDBCR now and ready for her own home.


Belle is a 9 year old BC mix that we helped a private party place several years ago with a then-childless couple, but Belle bit their toddler and they wanted her gone. We have taken Belle into rescue, and we know she's a very plain older dog, but we are hoping someone will fall for her.


Still have Ziggy. Go figure.


And Tip! We sadly still have Tip. It's been a year now. He's just so shy.

We have a couple more fab dogs looking for homes shortly - they're still being evaluated and will be available soon!

Tip is meeting an applicant on Monday - after more than a year in foster care, he may have found a person of his own!
